Job Description ATTENTION ALL Our client independent global healthcare company is currently looking to appoint a dedicated, experienced Senior Safety Health & Environment Specialist to join their team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As Senior Safety Health & Environment Specialist you will be responsible for providing cross functional advice and support to our Engineering, Quality Laboratories, Manufacturing and Technical Operations. In this position you will work to deliver the compliance of the site management system with company standards and UK legislation. This will also include support the delivery of key Capital Projects. Role Responsibilities: Act as a deputy to the site SHE Lead in their absence. Provide SHE leadership and support to the various operational functions across site to ensure safe and compliant operation. Support and maintain key site hazard identification and risk management programs, eg risk assessment, manual handling, COSHH, Permit to Work, Loss prevention, HAZOP as well as site registers. Support the site SHE management and organisation by acting as a subject matter expert on allocated SHE programmes and providing coaching to site personnel.
