The organisation:

An independently owned medical communications business – a full-service agency working with pharmaceutical clients across medical education, digital solutions and patient engagement.

The role:

A newly created role due to company growth, suitable for candidates with at least 1 year of experience at Senior Medical Writer level. With a key focus on creating content that is scientifically accurate, you will take a hands-on role on all medical writing outputs and will also:

  • Train, coach and mentor junior Writers – assuming line management responsibility if also required.
  • QC and review all content created – ensuring the highest quality and also that client briefs have been adhered to.
  • Lead client calls/meetings – furthermore acting as the Scientific Lead for specific projects.
  • Collaborate with the Client Services & Creative teams - providing input into budget development and creative designs.

As a Senior Medical Writer, you will demonstrate:

  • A track record of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency – with at least 1 year at Senior Medical Writer level.
  • The ability to mentor and coach more junior team members.
  • Experience of liaising directly with clients, HCPs and KOLs – taking a lead on projects and striving for a high-quality approach at all times.
  • Ideally a University degree, or equivalent qualification, within a relevant Scientific discipline.
