The organisation is building a best-in-class procurement function that delivers true strategic value β and is now looking for a Procurement Lead β Category Management to join its leadership team.
The Opportunity
Sitting within the Materials, Manufacturing & Capex Procurement Delivery group, you will shape and embed a global approach to Category Management. This is a senior, strategic role where you will:
- Define and lead the Category Management framework across Global Procurement.
- Develop best practices, processes, and tools that enable excellence in category strategy development and execution.
- Act as a subject matter expert, coach and enabler β working closely with procurement managers and stakeholders across functions, business units, and geographies.
- Ensure alignment with the overall procurement strategy, digital initiatives, and business priorities.
- Drive adoption, capability building, and continuous improvement across the procurement community.
Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced procurement leader who brings:
- 10+ yearsβ experience in global procurement, with expertise in strategic sourcing and category management.
- A strong track record in leading procurement transformation, building frameworks, and enabling adoption across large organisations.
- Experience working in a matrix, global environment, ideally with exposure to manufacturing, materials, or capex categories.
- Familiarity with digital procurement platforms and a commitment to innovation and agile ways of working.
- Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organisation.
