About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Biometrics to lead Data Management and Biostatistics. In this senior role, you will provide strategic direction, manage vendors, and ensure high-quality data delivery across clinical development programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior Biometrics leader who enjoys autonomy, shaping strategy, and staying closely involved in delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Biometrics function, including Data Management and Statistics teams
- Oversee strategy, vendor selection, and system implementation
- Provide senior-level guidance and act as a key escalation point across clinical programmes
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards
- Drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in data management and statistical outputs
Qualifications & Experience:
- UK degree-level qualification (BSc, BA, or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Extensive experience in Data Management, Biostatistics, or Biometrics leadership
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and systems (EDC, CDISC standards, etc.)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
