The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join a growing Supply Chain and Logistics team based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, inventory control, supply chain operations or warehouse management who enjoys problem-solving, analysing data and working with multiple stakeholders to ensure products move efficiently through the supply chain.
Working closely with third-party logistics providers, regional teams and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring supplier performance and supporting the smooth operation of logistics processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain alignment between internal ERP systems and third-party logistics provider systems.
- Investigate and resolve inventory and stock discrepancies.
- Support stock reconciliations, cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Manage inbound shipment discrepancies and drive timely resolution.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs.
- Coordinate the movement and shipment of products across multiple locations.
- Provide logistics support and guidance to regional teams.
- Produce regular logistics and inventory reports for internal stakeholders.
- Review and process supplier invoices.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support logistics audits and compliance activities.
- Maintain and update logistics procedures, process documentation and work instructions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Logistics function.
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure excellent service delivery.
You will be an organised and analytical individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of operational challenges. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively across teams and using data to identify and resolve issues.
