Our client is a leading research-based pharmaceutical organisation with an extensive portfolio across the Oncology, Neurology, and Pain therapy areas. By joining our client, you will be working for an organisation with a human healthcare philosophy, which means that we put the patient first in everything we do.

As the maintenance and asset coordinator, you will ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance and facilities activities across the pharmaceutical site. A key aspect of the role is proactive planning and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are delivered and closed out on time, in full compliance with GMP standards, site procedures, and Home Office requirements. This role acts as a central interface between engineering and operational teams, enabling data-driven decision-making, optimising asset performance, and supporting regulatory compliance through accurate system management and reporting.

What are we looking for?

  • Essential:
  • Proven experience working with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP, Hexagon, Concept) in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle management, and work order close-out processes.
  • Ability to produce and interpret maintenance performance reports and KPIs.
  • Experience supporting audit readiness through accurate documentation and system records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
  • Desirable:
  • Demonstrable experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a regulated or GMP-compliant environment.
  • Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Home Office compliance requirements related to maintenance and facilities.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
  • Knowledge of validation and qualification processes related to equipment and facilities.
  • Familiarity with change control, deviation, and CAPA processes in a GMP setting.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to engineering project coordination or shutdown planning.
  • Understanding of asset reliability and performance monitoring tools or techniques.
  • Experience in training CMMS users and supporting system upgrades or implementations.
  • Working knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements related to maintenance activities.
