Job Description

Role: Graduate, International Statutory Reporting

Location: Chester

Location: 12 Months (possibly up to 24 months)

Rate: £17.82 per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate to join our International Statutory Reporting team as an assistant accountant. This role is ideal for recent graduates who may have some accounting experience / background and are eager to grow their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.

Assist with the completion of statutory audits

Support the team with statutory reporting and legal entity processes.

Help ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

Collaborate with various teams to gather and analyse financial data.

Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Business fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Familiarity with statutory and legal entity reporting is an advantage.
