An established UK healthcare supplier is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and develop NHS relationships across a Northern territory. This is a field-based role offering high autonomy, suited to someone who values long-term relationships and face-to-face engagement.

The Role

  • You will take ownership of an established NHS customer base, working with procurement and clinical stakeholders to maintain service levels and identify growth opportunities.
  • The role combines account development, stakeholder engagement, and effective territory management within NHS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing NHS accounts across the territory
  • Build strong relationships with procurement, clinical, and senior stakeholders
  • Identify and deliver growth opportunities within current customers
  • Navigate NHS procurement frameworks and supply routes
  • Deliver product presentations and customer training
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and maintain accurate CRM records

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience selling into the NHS or healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of NHS procurement and decision-making

  • Comfortable managing a large, autonomous territory
  • Ideally based along or near the M62 corridor
