We’re partnering with a global life sciences organisation developing innovative biopharmaceuticals and vaccines for animal health who are looking for an Analytical Development Scientist to join their team in Liverpool, Speke. This is a hands-on lab role within a collaborative Technical Development team, focused on analytical method development for microbial and cell culture projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise analytical methods (HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS)
  • Plan, execute, and interpret lab studies
  • Support method validation and tech transfer activities
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

About You

  • Degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline
  • ~2+ years’ experience in analytical development (or PhD)
  • Strong knowledge of protein chemistry
  • Experience with HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS
  • Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • Desirable: Mass spectrometry or cell-based assay experience
