We’re partnering with a global life sciences organisation developing innovative biopharmaceuticals and vaccines for animal health who are looking for an Analytical Development Scientist to join their team in Liverpool, Speke. This is a hands-on lab role within a collaborative Technical Development team, focused on analytical method development for microbial and cell culture projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise analytical methods (HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS)
- Plan, execute, and interpret lab studies
- Support method validation and tech transfer activities
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
About You
- Degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline
- ~2+ years’ experience in analytical development (or PhD)
- Strong knowledge of protein chemistry
- Experience with HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS
- Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Desirable: Mass spectrometry or cell-based assay experience
