Job Title: Creative Graphic Designer – Cosmetic Product Design & Packaging Job Type: Full-time – Permanent position Location: Cheshire, office-based Remuneration: £35,000 – £40,000 + benefits Cpl is collaborating with a growing beauty and skincare company with a large customer base, ranging from high street retailers from all around the world, online fashion retailers and licensed product. With a focus on colour cosmetics, skincare, hair care, body care and Fragrance. You will also have the opportunity to work on our various in-house brands alongside other graphic designers and art workers, reporting to the Creative Director and Head of Design. You will be working in a fast-paced design studio, where they encourage you to explore your creativity. Main areas of responsibility: Creating customer-facing presentations to a high-quality standard. These presentations may consist of artwork concepts presented as a style guide and or product CADs created to represent the final products. Working with product developers to ensure all products meet the customer requirements in various ways, such as, aesthetically, meeting cost requirements and adhering to brand guidelines. Creating trend presentations from research gathered by our development team. Help create specification documents to hand over creative jobs to the artwork team. Maintain brand identity and consistency across various media for a variety of brands; these may include, product and packaging, marketing materials and digital assets for web and social media. Maintaining an excellent quality of design work using our current methods and work processes, but also helping to improve our design output and offering new and exciting ways to present to customers. Essential Skills: Strong concept design ability. Able to bring ideas to life on screen, either with a focused direction or from own initiative. Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. Knowledge of various other design applications, such as, InDesign and Acrobat. Up to date with current trends and practices of CAD visuals and methods. Good knowledge of the printing process. Experience in a similar role. Experience in packaging design. Experience working with large-scale brands. Preferable Skills (but not essential): Experience in 3D modelling and animation. Knowledge of web design. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects. A passion or understanding of beauty and skincare products.
