Flexsource are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll administrator on a temporary full time basis, covering the Newcastle Upon Tyne area.
Responsibilities:
With a full job description upon request, you will;
·Schedule, process, and produce monthly staff payrolls, BACS payments, and General Ledger (GL) files
·Manage high volumes of complex and sensitive payroll data within tight deadlines.
·Reconcile payments and process deductions to third parties and statutory bodies
·Accurately compile monthly tax and NI liabilities, adjusting for statutory payments
·Handle payroll and pension queries from staff and external agencies, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act
·Assist Payroll Officers with complex payroll-related queries and provide administrative support on payroll, pensions, and expenses matters
·Validate and manage daily pension payroll processes per scheduled timelines
·Provide guidance and training on complex payroll, pension, and expenses procedures to ensure consistent application of regulations and processes
Requirements:
·Previous experience within a payroll function is essential
·Confident with manual gross to net calculations
·Experienced working with PAY|E, taxable benefits, and salary sacrifice legislation
