An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will support supplier quality, production activities, and ongoing compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards. The position offers a four-day working week and exposure to cross-functional engineering and quality activities.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Quality Assurance
  • Support Goods Inwards inspection and supplier monitoring systems to ensure incoming product quality
  • Coordinate supplier-related rejections and non-conformances
  • Liaise with suppliers on quality issues and manage the RMA process
  • Production Support
  • Maintain first article inspection documentation for key customers
  • Organise disposition of rejected product and collate data for MRB and reporting purposes
  • Support product and process investigations
  • Assist Quality and Engineering teams during New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Assist with the creation, implementation, and review of Quality Standards

Requirements

  • Recent experience (within the last 1–3 years) in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft 365
  • Desirable: Third-level qualification, ideally in Engineering, or 2+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role
  • Experience using MRP systems
