Financial Controller - Ballykelly

Full-Time | Permanent

Our client, a growing manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead the finance function, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain financial controls, and provide commercial insight to support business growth. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams while leading a small finance team.

Duties

  • Lead monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and statutory compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, inventory and fixed assets.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
  • Partner with operational teams on costing, profitability and performance.
  • Oversee project financial reporting and investment appraisals.
  • Lead and develop the finance team.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and ERP systems.

Criteria

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
  • Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector background.
  • Strong management accounting, statutory reporting and costing experience.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills.
