Deputy Principal Accountant | Belfast
We are recruiting for a Deputy Principal Accountant to join a Belfast-based organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a varied role covering financial reporting, budgeting, management accounting, team leadership, and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual accounts and financial reports.
- Analyse financial data and provide financial advice.
- Manage budgets and support financial planning.
- Produce management accounts and performance reports.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Maintain financial controls and support audits.
Essential Criteria
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience gained within the last 10 years.
- Experience in financial planning and budgeting, financial accounting and audit, or management accounting and cost analysis.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
