About the job
As an Area Sales Manager, you will sell this leading manufacturer's range of energy efficient plumbing & heating products into sub contractors (installers), Plumbing and Heating merchants and Social Housing. You will manage existing relationships with national and independent plumbing & heating merchants and distributors.
You will spend 70% of your time generating demand with installers / sub contractors (plumbing contractors) and Social Housing and then pull sales through the merchant / distribution channel.

My client has been established for 120+ years and is a prominent brand within the Plumbing & Heating arena having earned an excellent reputation for the quality of their energy efficient / environmentally friendly products. The company manufactures several exceptional products seen in residential and commercial projects that are stocked in merchants nationally. This market leader is proud to be considered innovators within the plumbing & heating industry backed by excellent customer service and operations teams.
The Candidate:
The ideal applicant will have sold into plumbing contractors / installers. Our client will consider people that have worked for merchants or manufacturers that have sold into contractors (plumbing / heating or HVAC). We would also be keen to speak to those that have sold construction / HVAC or P&H products into Social Housing. Area Sales Managers that have sold boilers or HVAC products into installers are of particular interest.
The Package:
- Basic up to £44,000 - £48,000
- 20% of salary plus £10,000 bonus (paid quarterly)
- Company car
- Hybrid
- Simply Heath - plan
