The Role – Area Sales Manager

  • This is a field sales role.
  • The role is focused on developing demand within the flooring contractor market while also building and strengthening long-term partnerships with key independent flooring distributors across the region.
  • This is a true push and pull sales position where success comes from consistent market presence, strong relationships, and effective collaboration with flooring distributor partners.
  • You will work closely with branch teams to increase product visibility, support specification activity, and drive pull-through sales at local level.
  • Key areas of responsibility include developing relationships with contractors to influence product usage, managing and growing business through independent distributors, and working in partnership with branch and area teams on joint activity such as trade days, contractor mornings, and in-branch engagement sessions.
  • A key part of the role will also involve identifying and converting new business opportunities across your territory.

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager role
