Responsibilities:
- This is a field/home based role covering the South Home Counties (Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire).
- Managing an existing portfolio of 70 OEM and CEM accounts, you will represent a true market leader promoting a range of electronic, electrical and industrial components (semi-conductors, test equipment, automotive products, connectors etc).
- You will be managing low volume, high margin accounts liaising with Purchasing Managers and R&D teams.
- As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for circa £2.5 million that is performing well against budget with strong growth potential.
- You will be tasked with driving profitable business via an existing account base.
- You will report into the Regional Sales Manager who is extremely experienced and will give you as much support as you need on an ongoing basis.
- You will work as part of a collaborative supportive team; however, you will be given full autonomy and trusted to make decisions based on your own judgements (no micro-managing).

Candidate:
Ideally, you will have sold electrical/electronic components into either OEMs or CEMs. Our client will also consider those with electrical or industrial backgrounds, i.e., you may have worked for an Electrical or Electronic manufacturer and sold into contractors. We will also consider exceptional electrical wholesaler sales representatives with a strong proven track record.
Package:
Up to £50,000, 12% bonus; you will also receive 15% of profit over target (current KAMs earn an additional £1.5K-£5K per month), paid monthly.
