This specification sales position is focused on securing and developing opportunities across the social housing and affordable housing sector.
- Drive specification sales activity within social housing providers and local authorities
- Target social housing frameworks and approved supplier lists with local authorities
- Work closely with builders merchants to ensure product pull-through on social housing projects
- Develop KBB specifications aligned to the needs of social housing and local authorities
- Manage framework agreements across social housing procurement structures
- Engage Regional Directors within national builders merchants and Plumbing & Heating Merchants including MKM, Jewson, City Plumbing, Plumbase and Travis Perkins
- Provide cost-effective KBB solutions tailored to social housing budgets
- Support builders merchants with specification sales strategy across local authorities
- Secure long-term KBB specification sales agreements within social housing developments
The Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in specification sales within social housing or affordable housing
- Strong track record of working with local authorities and housing associations
- Experience selling KBB or building materials products via builders merchants
- Clear understanding of how specification sales is driven within social housing frameworks
- Experience managing relationships at Regional Manager or Regional Director level within builders merchants
- Ability to influence decision makers across social housing, local authorities and merchant networks
- Commercial awareness of pricing structures required to win KBB projects within social housing
