About the job
Blue-chip construction manufacturer have a rare opportunity selling commercial construction products into M&E Contractors. This is a field/home based role covering the South East. As Technical Sales Manager you will identify, win and manage new business selling our clients leading range of drainage and civils products, water supply systems and associated services. The route to market is predominantly through large M&E contractors. The role is a mix of project conversion, account management and targeting competitor business. You will work on exciting commercial building projects.

The candidate
- An excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace, and a proven track record of working on large scale construction projects.
- A capability to handle technical dialogue at all levels, and experience/confidence in presenting to groups.
- A track record of working with internal sales departments to identify new business leads, develop leads into tangible business opportunities and develop robust KPIs to demonstrate revenue growth in an identified market sector.
- An understanding of the project stages and decision making process in the identified areas of construction to include public RMI, House Building, Modern Methods of Construction and Civils Infrastructure.
- Experience dealing with high level decision makers within the industry.
