The Company
Our client is a household brand and market leading manufacturer of a range of state of the art / innovative commercial cleaning machines. Their customers heavily rely on their products and associated services as they offer cleaning equipment to companies across a multitude of sectors including transport & logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, facilities management and the public sector. This is a rare opportunity for a commercially astute Key or National Account Manager to manage important corporate clients within the FM sector.
The Role of Key Account Manager - Capital Equipment
This is a home / field based national Key Account role. As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing some of the companies' key corporate clients. You will be managing circa 5 accounts looking to increase the share of wallet within these accounts and managing and increasing revenue spend that currently sits at approx. £5M. As Key Account Manager you will strategically develop your accounts establishing 5 year growth plans dealing with C-level stakeholders as well as Regional / National Managers, Divisional Directors, Sector Managers, Account Directors and Client Solutions Teams. This role requires the Key Account Manager to work with Key Accounts and help handle / solve a broad spectrum of objectives. These objectives may include supporting customers with their sustainability responsibilities, working on tenders and contracts and understanding and offering solutions to their challenges in a consultative manner.
The Candidate
- Our client is looking for strong tenured Key, National or Corporate Account experience
- Ideally, you will have worked with, and managed fewer accounts and have dealt with multiple decision makers within those accounts
- You must be experienced in having highly strategic conversations with your customers
- You must be an expert in fact finding and questioning
- Ideally, you will have established 2-5 year growth plans with your customers
- You must have a good attention to detail, be analytical and know your figures well (please make sure you have performance vs target figures on your CV)
