The Role of Area Sales Manager
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 400 accounts across a defined territory.
- Selling industrial / engineering components into a mix of end users and trade partners.
- 50% of your time focused on OEM customers.
- 50% managing and growing relationships with established distributors and re-sellers (e.g. Eriks, Key Industrial, BSL, etc.).
- Engaging with a variety of stakeholders including Production Managers, Engineers, and Buyers.
- 75% of your focus will be on existing business developing current accounts and converting warm inbound enquiries.
- Tasked with growing an area currently generating circa £800K turnover.
- Supported by an internal team for quotes, lead generation, and customer service.
- Full autonomy to manage your diary and develop your area with the backing of a respected brand (2/3 days field / 2/3 days WFH).
