The Company hiring a Business Development Manager

Our client is a household brand and market leading capital equipment manufacturer - they supply their customers with a range of state of the art / innovative commercial machines to solve hygiene and health & safety issues across a broad range of sectors that include transport & logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, facilities management and the public sector. The company are renowned for their unrivalled sales training and development programmes that serve as a platform for successful recruits to progress into Key / National Accounts and People Management. This position has come about due to a recent internal promotion of a successful individual that has been with the business for approx. 2 years.

The Role of Business Development Manager

Due to an internal promotion our client are looking to recruit a field based Business Development Manager to cover the North East, Yorkshire & (occasionally) Scotland. You will be tasked with generating new business and managing existing accounts selling commercial equipment into public sector accounts such as hospitals, education institutions and government departments. From time to time, you will be responsible for demonstrating products to clients. This varied role is field / home based with a mix of.
