Leading construction distributor of specialist fixings is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the South East and London. This is a field home-based role covering the South West and South Wales, managing and developing a profitable area selling the company's leading range of fixtures, fixings, construction materials, and consumables.

Route to market includes M&E contractors, drywall, fit-out, and façade contractors and sub-contractors. The expectation is approximately 3 to 4 client visits per day with an average order value of £1200. Responsibilities include developing business through site visits and building strong relationships with customers, supported by an internal coordinator for admin, pricing, and proposals.

The company is a leading national distributor of construction products, consumables, and accessories, experiencing year-on-year growth and on track to become a £100M business within the next 6 years. Their success is attributed to a strong foundation of sales professionals who have enjoyed lucrative careers, with exceptional staff retention and an average length of service above 7 years.

An Area Sales Manager can expect to earn between £75k and £100K in year one, with realistic bonus opportunities as the business scales further. The ideal candidate will be a hunter with a strong, stable track record of success and construction field sales experience or strong knowledge of construction fixings.

The package on offer includes:

  • Up to £45,000
  • Monthly paid OTE (3% on all new sales above 20% GP)
  • Current ASM's earn between £60k and £100k+
  • Hybrid company car or £500 per month allowance
