The Role of Area Sales Manager

  • This field / home based account management role.
  • As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing customers within the Builders Merchants / Wholesaler channel.
  • Your objective will be to up-sell, cross-sell and drive growth within an existing client base, but also open up new distribution points.
  • As Area Sales Manager, your contact level will be with Branch Managers at national builders merchants where you will conduct account reviews and aim to develop revenue and strengthen relationships within the region.
  • The Area Sales Manager, will manage a £3M area that has consistently delivered on turnover and profit margin target.
  • You will work in collaboration with other departments to deliver overall best in class service to your accounts.
  • You will also support Branch staff; educating them ensuring they are experts when promoting the brand to the end customer.
