The role starts as a Mon-Fri days shift with an early finish on Friday lunchtime weekly, resulting in a 4.5 day week. Working hours are Mon-Thurs. The starting salary is £38k, plus private healthcare and excellent benefits including pension and many other perks.
The NDT Technician's role is responsible for undertaking a variety of processes including:
- Product verification of components for the NDT Department.
- Carrying out non-destructive testing of materials.
- Responsible for assembly of test items in line with Company procedures.
- Monitoring shielding levels in the radiographic facility to ensure they meet defined National Safety levels.
- Completing chemical testing of DPI / MPI process to ensure materials and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.
- Being conversant with and able to generate and maintain test and inspection documentation.
