Estimator – Design & Build / Fit-Out / Refurbishment

Berkshire | Main Contractor | £60,000 – £75,000pa (dependant on experience)

My client, a respected Chartered Design & Build Contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their expanding team with immediate affect. Specialising in the refurbishment and fit-out of commercial and industrial buildings, they deliver projects across London and the Home Counties.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a UK-based Estimator with main contracting experience to join a long-established business with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for quality delivery.

Role Overview

Based at the company’s Berkshire head office, the Estimator will support the Pre-Construction team in preparing accurate, competitive tenders and cost plans. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll help ensure submissions meet client requirements, deadlines, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Maintain accurate cost databases and bench-marking
• Support tender meetings, presentations, and negotiations where required
