Our client is a global market leader working within the Aerospace industry, due to exciting growth plans they are hiring for a number of different Production Operatives/Assembly Operatives and Manufacturing Technicians on-site in Chalgrove, near Oxford.

The role is for a Packing Operative working within a busy Production environment in a Pyro-assembly department where the highest standards within Health and Safety and precision are key. The role starts as a Mon-Fri days shift with an early finish Friday lunchtime weekly, resulting in a 4.5 day week. The environment involves testing on pyro and explosives, which can be loud, and requires comfort working with explosives and explosive equipment. This position may suit anyone ex-military looking for some excitement.
Working hours are Mon-Thurs 0800-1645, Fridays 0800-1200, with a salary just under £28k + private healthcare and excellent benefits including pension and many other perks. After 6 months, the shift pattern will change with an enclosed shift premium and salary uplift. There is also an opportunity to change shift pattern after passing the 6 months probation to work a 4 on 4 off 0700-1630 day shift, which, with the shift premium, takes the base salary to just over £34k.
Free parking is available, and it would probably suit a car owner driver as the site is a remote village miles away from the closest bus or train station. The successful candidate will be able to provide a 5-year working referencing history and be prepared to complete a criminal record check.
