Our client is a leading wholesaler and distributor of consumer goods, supplying retailers, convenience stores, forecourts, and independent businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring high levels of service, efficiency, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Manage distribution activities to achieve on-time deliveries and excellent customer service.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
  • Drive health and safety compliance and operational best practice.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor performance through WMS and key operational KPIs.

  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management.
