Logistics operative – Manufacturing – £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
We are working with a hugely successful and global manufacturing business that can boast a huge client base of large organisations within national security and defence. They have experienced year on year growth and are now in the position to expand their well respected in house logistics team by adding a Logistics Operative to join ASAP.
Typical daily duties will include:
Being the primary report for picking parts, components and Products in accordance with customer requirements.
Ensuring batch numbers are validated and product descriptions and in line with in-house and SAP systems.
Ensuring communication with shipping team is accurate and ready for despatch and on time.
Maintaining self inspection and carrying out quality control cheeks of your work is compliant with company and industry legislation.
To take receipt of goods in and deliver to correct department and line manager.
Using lifting devices and equipment to their maximum benefit and ensuring safety of all personnel.
Candidate requirements:
The ability to work under pressure and meet company targets and deadlines.
A background working within warehouse / logistics.
Experience of using MS office products.
Experience of a methodical and structure approach to your workload.
The ability to take great pride in your work, self checking your standard and submitting work at 100% perfection.
Although not essential candidates who have experience of working with fork lift trucks would be a great advantage to your application.
