Electro/Mechanical Assembler / Tester £15.00 - £16.50 per hour | Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week Our client, a well-established engineering company in the HVAC sector, is looking for an experienced Electro/Mechanical Assembler / Tester to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role assembling, wiring and testing high-quality equipment to meet production schedules.
Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm Enhanced overtime rates available when required.
Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electrical units to specification.
Read and interpret electrical schematics.
Build control panels and complete wiring to drawings.
Carry out dead and live electrical testing to ensure products are ready for dispatch.
Inspect your own work and report quality issues.
Use hand and air tools safely and effectively.
Maintain high standards of Health Safety, quality and housekeeping.
Support other production areas when required.
Requirements City Guilds or NVQ Electrical qualification. 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (or equivalent).
Previous electro/mechanical assembly and electrical testing experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
