Trainee Field Service Technician/Engineer roles available across several territories throughout the South of England.

Trainees £30,000 - £35,000 starting salary + Company car/van + 25 days holiday and company perks, salary increases once fully qualified with different levelling throughout the journey that could lead to £40k after 2 years. Experienced Coffee Vending Machines Technicians also welcome paying £40,000.

Must have a full driving licence (with less than 6 points) and been driving for at least 12 months (21 years + for insurance purposes). First class training and development and genuine progression and career path on offer here. A mechanical or electrical technical background is key; otherwise, full training provided in a niche market-place. Mon-Fri 42.5 working week, role is conducting 6 Service jobs daily within a 10-15 miles.

Your Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To diagnose and repair faults on a complete range of Vending Equipment.
  • Continually review multiple fault equipment and ensure that any machine that displays persistent breakdowns is given the highest priority regarding repair.
  • To attend various Training Courses to assist you to maintain the highest standard of workmanship.
  • Maintain good customer relations by adopting a pleasant manner at all times.
  • Adhere to customer procedure e.g. entry/exit from premises and Health & Safety Policies where appropriate.
  • Maintain your company vehicle in a road worthy condition in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure that your vehicle is stocked with correct parts and kept clean and tidy both inside and out.

What You Bring to The Role:

  • Ability to form and maintain a close working relationship with colleagues and clients with a view to providing the best possible service to our clients.
  • Willing and able to work on your own initiative.
  • A full UK driving licence with at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 points is essential.
  • Be customer-focused with a smart and professional appearance.
  • Must have strong electrical knowledge/experience – demonstrated through practical work experience or an electrical qualification.
  • Have a technical background with strong fault finding and diagnosis skills.
  • Be aware of how to work safely on electrical equipment.
