Sheet Metal Worker – High Wycombe
£14.00 per hour | Approx. £29,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy sheet metal and fabrication team based in High Wycombe.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical sheet metal experience who takes pride in producing consistently high-quality work within a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing sheet metal components in line with production requirements
- Operating sheet metal machinery including Punch Press, Guillotine and/or Brake Press
- Self-inspecting completed work and reporting any non-conformance issues
- Taking appropriate care of tooling and machinery
- Supporting basic maintenance and reporting repair requirements
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
- Supporting the wider production facility when required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous sheet metal or fabrication experience
- Experience operating some or all of the following: Punch Press, Guillotine and Brake Press
- A strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively as part of a production team
- A responsible approach to machinery, tooling and workplace safety
Location: High Wycombe
Pay: £14.00 per hour / approximately £29,000 per annum
