Sheet Metal Worker – Permanent
Location: High Wycombe | Pay: £14.00 per hour | Hours: 40 hours per week
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–4:30pm and Friday, 7:30am–1:30pm.
A market leader in the HVAC industry is looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join its team in High Wycombe. If you have experience in sheet metal work or fabrication and are looking for a permanent role with consistent working hours, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Working as part of the sheet metal and fabrication team, you will help ensure components are manufactured safely, accurately and to the required quality standards, meeting production schedules.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing sheet metal components in line with production requirements.
- Operating relevant machinery, including punch presses, guillotines and brake presses, depending on your experience.
- Carrying out quality checks on your own work and reporting any non-conformance issues.
- Taking care of tools and machinery, carrying out basic maintenance where required and reporting any faults.
- Following company health and safety procedures and supporting quality and environmental standards.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
- Supporting other areas of the factory when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sheet metal work or fabrication.
- Experience operating some or all of the following: punch press, guillotine and brake press.
- A good eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- A reliable, practical and team-focused approach.
- An awareness of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
