My client, a highly successful and growing multi-channel retailer based in Buckinghamshire, is looking to recruit an experienced ESG Compliance Manager to join their Technical & Quality Assurance team.
Reporting to the Head of Technical & Quality Assurance, you'll join a collaborative team of 13 across the UK and Hong Kong, while leading one ESG Analyst.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the organisation's ESG compliance strategy, ensuring environmental, social and governance commitments are embedded across the business while keeping pace with an evolving regulatory landscape.
The Role
You’ll lead the development and delivery of the company's ESG compliance roadmap, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, develop policies and governance frameworks, oversee environmental reporting and drive cross-functional ESG initiatives.
You’ll also play a key role in monitoring emerging legislation, providing strategic guidance to the business and establishing effective governance, reporting and performance measures to support the organisation's sustainability objectives.
About You
I’m looking for someone who can demonstrate
- Previous experience within an ESG, Sustainability or Compliance role, ideally within a retail or product-based environment.
- A strong understanding of ESG legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing ESG policies and governance frameworks.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative and approachable style with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
