Our client is a global market leader in Aerospace working at its UK head office in Chalgrove, near Oxford. This role is for production operatives/assembly operatives and skilled technicians with a mechanical engineering background.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and assemble aircraft components and related equipment.
- Use hand tools and read and follow technical drawings.
- Maintain a high level of manual dexterity and quality eye for detail.
- Work in a testing environment with pyro and explosives, ensuring safe handling.
- Support shift operations during Mon‑Fri day shift with early finish on Friday.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical engineering background or equivalent exposure.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in environments involving explosives.
Shift & Compensation:
- Mon‑Fri day shift with early finish Friday lunch (shift uplift to £28k‑£34k).
