Our client is a global market leader in Aerospace working at its UK head office in Chalgrove, near Oxford. This role is for production operatives/assembly operatives and skilled technicians with a mechanical engineering background.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and assemble aircraft components and related equipment.
  • Use hand tools and read and follow technical drawings.
  • Maintain a high level of manual dexterity and quality eye for detail.
  • Work in a testing environment with pyro and explosives, ensuring safe handling.
  • Support shift operations during Mon‑Fri day shift with early finish on Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering background or equivalent exposure.
  • Experience using hand tools.
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in environments involving explosives.

Shift & Compensation:

  • Mon‑Fri day shift with early finish Friday lunch (shift uplift to £28k‑£34k).
  • Option to move to a 4 on 4 off 0700‑1630 shift with additional pay.
