Introduction CPI Books Croydon has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our Print Finishing team to develop as a skilled lamination print finisher and actively participate in a 26 Month apprenticeship as a Print Finishing Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Run laminating machines to optimum efficiency (training will be given).
  • Apply lamination film to pre-printed paper and board.
  • Follow scheduling systems to determine the order of work to be produced.
  • Follow electronic, written and verbal instructions to optimise production.
  • Produce consistently high-quality work, checking sheets throughout the production run.
  • Work in a clean, tidy and safe manner.
  • Fill out clearly any paperwork associated with the job.
  • Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance on equipment.
