About this role: To deliver and manage the Women’s First Team Goalkeeper coaching programme for the development of individual goalkeepers within the Crystal Palace Football Team squad.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively planning, delivering and evaluating goalkeeper coaching sessions in line with the Club’s coaching philosophy.
  • Implementing training programme for first team goalkeepers in association with the first team management staff.
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all attacking and defensive set‑piece strategies, including goalkeeper involvement, working closely with the first‑team coaching staff.
  • Work with Academy coaches to produce and deliver detailed regular individual goalkeeper progress reviews and implement individual goalkeeper development plans for goalkeepers across all levels.
  • Managing the logistics for all goalkeeper training sessions.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve operations and practices in the goalkeeper coaching department.
  • Uphold and promote the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • UEFA B License and UEFA B Goalkeeping (essential).
  • UEFA A License and UEFA A Goalkeeping (desirable).
  • Fully Licensed FA Coach committed to ongoing annual CPFC to maintain license.
  • CRC and FA Safeguarding Certificate.
  • Strong IT skills and a strong understanding of and commitment to utilising data analysis tools.
  • Experience of working in women’s professional football (desirable).
