The UI/UX Designer gathers user requirements, designs graphic elements, and builds navigation components. Experience with design software and wireframing tools is essential. The candidate should be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Design graphic user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields
  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate site functionality and appearance
  • Create original graphic designs (images, sketches, tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards regarding fonts, colors, and images

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Experience creating high-fidelity mock-ups, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Balsamiq, or other visual design and wireframing tools; knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • High proficiency with Adobe Suite (Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Sketch
  • Strong eye for design, good composition, and attention to detail, with a focus on interactions and user delight
  • Experience in wireframe design and documentation, visual designs, and mockups
  • Knowledge of user research methods, including usability testing protocols
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with interaction design prototyping tools such as Invision App
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design principles and patterns
