The UI/UX Designer gathers user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. Experience with design software and wireframe tools. Ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields
  • Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent graphics design skills.
  • Experience creating high-fidelity mock-ups, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Balsamiq, or other visual design and wireframing tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • High proficiency with Adobe suite [Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign] and/or Sketch.
  • Natural eye for design, good composition and you obsess about details, interactions and delighting users.
  • Wireframe Design and Documentation, Visual designs and Mock ups.
  • Knowledge of User Research methods (usability test protocols).
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Interaction Design prototyping tools [Invision App].
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
