The UI/UX Designer gathers user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. Experience with design software and wireframe tools. Ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent graphics design skills.
- Experience creating high-fidelity mock-ups, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
- Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Balsamiq, or other visual design and wireframing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- High proficiency with Adobe suite [Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign] and/or Sketch.
- Natural eye for design, good composition and you obsess about details, interactions and delighting users.
- Wireframe Design and Documentation, Visual designs and Mock ups.
- Knowledge of User Research methods (usability test protocols).
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Interaction Design prototyping tools [Invision App].
- Working knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
