What's the role?
The Procurement Specialist role is offered as full-time or part-time, based in the Bournemouth and Dorset region with travel to client sites.
You will lead procurement for a range of categories such as facilities, estates, finance, curriculum and ICT, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and driving savings for our clients.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing the end-to-end tendering process for diverse categories.
- Providing proactive advice and service to clients at all levels of personnel.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Embedding best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement decisions.
- Ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with
- Procurement experience within the public sector or education sector.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel to client premises as required.
