We provide procurement services, 80+ compliant frameworks, consultancy support, and free training and development through Crescent Learning.

What's the role?

The Procurement Specialist role is offered as full-time or part-time, based in the Bournemouth and Dorset region with travel to client sites.

You will lead procurement for a range of categories such as facilities, estates, finance, curriculum and ICT, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and driving savings for our clients.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing the end-to-end tendering process for diverse categories.
  • Providing proactive advice and service to clients at all levels of personnel.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Embedding best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with

  • Procurement experience within the public sector or education sector.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel to client premises as required.
