Systems Safety Engineer (Assistant/Junior Engineer)

Role: Permanent

Location: North West, Midlands, London/South East

Due to considerable growth and success, the Safety team within CPC Systems is recruiting talented safety engineers looking for the next step in their careers.

Successful candidates will have opportunity to join a dynamic and driven team delivering on exciting projects across Transport and Energy sectors, gaining experience vital for career development from a highly skilled and experienced team.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Engineering Degree or similar
  • Experience working within a Consultancy / Client Side / Supplier organisation in a Systems Safety/Systems Engineering capacity
  • Experience working within the Rail / Energy / Transportation sectors
  • Member of a professional institution and chartered, or desire to work to chartership.
  • Demonstrable interest and awareness of systems engineering including – Design and construction, safety assurance, software, operational management, and project management.
  • Delivery of projects, collaborating with clients to understand their objectives and desired outcomes for each project.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and proactively prioritise workload.
  • A passion for tackling interesting and challenging work, embracing variety in projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
