Pre-Construction Manager Role: full‑time, permanent. Office: London, Hybrid working, 3 days in office/site. The role will be expected to attend client offices/sites as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director for our Construction Advisory team, helping them grow one of our newest and fastest growing business units.
  • Provide early strategic construction‑related advice on projects at their early stages to identify risks, understand constraints and assess relevant drivers so that these can be mitigated and optimised ahead of project delivery on site.
  • Consider buildability, construction logistics, methodology and design to support clients in informing programmes, costs and delivery for better outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience working for a Principal Contractor in a pre‑construction/technical role and looking to transition into a consultancy organisation to deliver exemplary services to clients.
  • Significant experience in Planning/Programming (essential).
  • Experience working on a range of different projects (beneficial).
  • Ability to be client facing (essential).
  • Ability to effectively influence pre‑construction activities.
  • Construction related qualification(s).
  • Working towards, or wanting to progress with becoming Chartered, which CPC will support.
