Based in our prestigious Liverpool office on the Royal Albert Dock, you’ll join a high-performing, close-knit residential team of 20+ professionals spanning our Manchester and Liverpool offices, working on complex residential schemes in social housing, Build-to-Rent, extra-care and supported living developments.
What you’ll actually do:
- Lead developments as Employer’s Agent from inception to completion, taking full ownership of cost, procurement and commercial strategy.
- Conduct early site due diligence / viability review.
- Produce pre‑ and post‑contract programme, understanding key milestones.
- Advise and implement tender / procurement strategy.
- Provide contract selection advice, final negotiation, and contract production.
- Administer contracts (JCT suites covering D&B, SBC, Intermediate and MW, plus Development Agreements).
- Build strong client relationships and be trusted to do so.
- Drive delivery—on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Mentor junior team members and help shape the team.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience as a Senior QS/EA delivering both pre‑ and post‑contract roles.
- Solid background in residential (essential).
- Exposure to social housing, BTR or similar sectors.
- Confident, client‑facing, ready to take ownership.
- Experience in the North West market preferred.
