We are seeking experienced Commercial Managers / Quantity Surveyors with backgrounds across aviation, rail, heavy civils, utilities, transport, and highways to join our high-performing Commercial Services team. You’ll work closely with the Partner and Senior management, taking a leading role in delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure programmes — with an initial focus on the fast-paced and technically demanding aviation sector.

Aviation Infrastructure Focus

You’ll be part of major aviation infrastructure programmes helping to shape and modernise some of the UK’s busiest transport hubs across London and the South East. Ongoing investment is driving a wide range of complex works, including terminal upgrades, operational improvements, sustainability initiatives, airside enhancements, passenger experience schemes, and wider transport connectivity projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cost and commercial management across infrastructure projects
  • Prepare, review, and manage cost plans, forecasts, and monthly reporting
  • Manage change control processes and assess variations
  • Oversee procurement activity, including tender documentation and evaluation
  • Administer NEC contracts (and/or Network Rail standard forms)
  • Support cash flow forecasting and cost reconciliation activities
  • Provide commercial advice to clients and project stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage risk, value, and opportunity across project portfolios
  • Ensure robust contract administration processes are maintained
  • Work collaboratively within embedded client and delivery teams
  • Support dispute avoidance and resolution where required

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management roles
  • Strong infrastructure background across sectors such as aviation, rail, highways, transport and utilities
  • Strong experience across pre‑ and/or post‑contract stages
  • Solid working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
  • Experience in cost reporting, forecasting, and project controls
  • Exposure to procurement and tendering processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Consultancy or client‑side experience (desirable)
