An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities services at a prestigious corporate headquarters located in the heart of London Bridge. This is a single-site role responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a modern corporate office environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of all hard and soft services, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, compliance, health and safety, workplace experience and operational efficiency.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and service partners, you will play a key role in creating a safe, productive and welcoming environment for employees and visitors while driving best practice across all aspects of facilities management.

The Role

As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all facilities operations across the site. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, manage service contracts and supplier performance, and ensure that all building systems operate effectively and in accordance with statutory requirements. You will lead the delivery of soft services including cleaning, reception, security, waste management and workplace services, while also managing hard services contractors responsible for M&E maintenance, compliance testing and building infrastructure.

The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, fire safety regulations and industry best practice. Responsibilities will include contractor management, risk assessments, permit-to-work processes, emergency preparedness, business continuity planning and the management of statutory inspections. You will be responsible for managing facilities budgets, monitoring expenditure, reviewing service level agreements and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and deliver value for money. The role will also support workplace projects, office moves, refurbishments and sustainability initiatives.

Regular engagement with employees, senior management and external contractors will be a key part of the position, requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience operating as a Facilities Manager, Senior Facilities Coordinator or Assistant Facilities Manager within a corporate office environment. You will possess a strong understanding of both hard and soft facilities services, contractor management, health and safety compliance and workplace operations. Experience managing service contracts, supplier performance and facilities budgets is essential. A recognised facilities management qualification such as IWFM Level 4 or above would be advantageous. IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualifications are highly desirable. You will be highly organised, commercially aware and capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Experience using CAFM systems and managing service delivery within a professional corporate environment would be beneficial.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, annual bonus opportunity, pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, generous holiday entitlement and ongoing professional development. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation and take ownership of a high-profile corporate headquarters in one of London's most sought-after business locations.
