Under the general direction of the Ministry Comptroller, the Management Accountant manages and controls the operations of the payroll, payables, debt collection and receivables sections of the department. They are responsible for ensuring that the systems and staff are operating within the required policies and procedures and that adequate controls are consistently applied. Duties are rotated between the two Management Accountant roles according to functions. Team 1 (Payroll, Reporting and Fixed Assets). Team 2 (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Debt Collection).
Applicants must be professionally qualified in accounting and be a full member of an internationally recognized accounting body and be eligible for membership with Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Bermuda. A minimum of three years relevant post-qualification experience is required.
