About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Land Manager to join an award-winning housing developer based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and securing land opportunities to support the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Land Identification & Acquisition – Source, assess, and secure suitable land opportunities for residential development across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
- Negotiation & Contracts – Lead negotiations for land purchases, ensuring the best commercial terms for the business.
- Planning & Due Diligence – Conduct feasibility studies, liaise with planning authorities, and ensure compliance with local planning policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Market Research – Stay up to date with market trends, land values, and planning regulations to inform strategic decisions.
About You
- Proven experience in land acquisition within the residential property or housebuilding sector.
- Strong understanding of planning regulations, land valuations, and development viability .
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
- Ability to identify and secure off-market opportunities.
