Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team, based from our Southampton office. This is a permanent, office-based role responsible for managing electrical projects typically valued up to Β£1 million, though project values may vary. Projects are delivered across the UK, therefore flexibility to travel when required is essential. A background in healthcare projects would be highly beneficial, although not essential. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Southampton to support day-to-day attendance at the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to final completion
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Oversee project programmes, cost control, and cash flow
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and progress updates
- Attend site visits and project meetings as required
- Use project management systems effectively (experience with Procore Systems is desirable)
Requirements & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations within commercial environments
- Experience delivering projects up to circa Β£1 million
- Background in healthcare projects is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore experience desirable)
