Location: Nottingham or Wymondham, Norwich
Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office
Duration: 6 months
Bill rate: max £44 p/h
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our Fire Suppression and Production Systems department.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, understanding of industry standards, engineering calculations, documentation and design.
- This role involves designing engineering solutions, liaising with internal & external stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of various mechanical solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards (CAFS, INERT fire Suppression Systems, HPU, Chemical Injection Packages etc).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Proven knowledge of the product design
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure
